Biking Across the Country and Building Houses

I just met up with Larry Galante, a Morristown type guy, who just graduated from school with a degree in architecture and is thinking about going into urban planning. Anyhow, the reason I met up with him was that I read that he was doing a ride from Boston to California this summer for Habitat for Humanity, which he is. It takes 2 months and they stop several times to work on habitat houses, which is pretty awesome. He’ll be at the bike ride on Friday so we can all admire his new bike that he had pimped out at Marty’s this week.

I’m going to write a more informative post for the mg blog later this week, but check out his blog about his summer bike ride here!

If you want to ride your bike and help out Habitat for Humanity and stay local, the annual Bike and Hike is on Saturday.
