I’m still thinking a bike ride on Thanksgiving through the mostly empty streets of town would be great, and we are going to do it, I just have to see if Jersey Boy is going to be open at all, before we have a start time.

Have a great weekend!

  1. We rode back to the grocery store this weekend, and took Madison Avenue back, but next time would probably stick with the traction line.

  2. Madison Ave is just too busy and would only ride it when in a hurry. I think the traction line is best. Thought the side roads like Turtle Rd, Old Glen are a nice detour that get away from traffic and ride by old, rich houses. Where are you guys riding Thanksgiving day? Is Jersey Boys open?

  3. Hey! Jersey boy is open! I don’t know where are riding, I think we are just going to make it up, so if you have an idea, let me know. I have to do this 5k at 8:15, which should be interesting, as I did to get ready was run one mile aobut 3 weeks ago.

So, after that I’ll come home and get ready to ride, mabye at noon? I know that is sorta late, but that’s how we roll. Maybe meet up at JB at noon? It is open until 1.

  4. I’ve been trying to shake a cold lately and have been dying to get out for a ride. I always do a traditional Thanksgiving day bike ride. It does wonders for my appetite later. If I’m feeling better, I’ll make sure to make Jersey boy a pit stop around noonish.
