New York City Bike Racks & a stolen bike

The New York Times has a story today about some new cute arty bike racks designed by David Byrne.

On a dif note, someone posted to the New Jersey + Bicycles = Perfect Together flickr group about their Bianchi that was stolen in Philadelphia. Here’s their blog post about it, and while it’s not really exactly local, that has never stopped me before, and I think we can all feel her pain.

  1. I think I like bike snob’s description of Byrne’s bike racks. Something along the lines of “as giant tie pins go, they’re ok.”
